MENE TEKEL DECK
The Mene Tekel Deck uses the long-and-short card principle to create a deck containing 26 different forceable cards.
The deck is made from 26 matched pairs, with each pair consisting of a normal-length card and a precisely shortened duplicate. The cards are arranged alternately throughout the deck.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH IT?
A spectator can select a card, return it to the centre of the deck and, using the Mene Tekel principle, the selected card can be located and controlled.
The principle can be used for card revelations, Ambitious Card routines, Card to Pocket, coincidences, mentalism effects and multiple selections.
Unlike a Svengali Deck, the Mene Tekel allows you to work with 26 different selections rather than repeatedly forcing the same card.
THE DECKSMITH DIFFERENCE
Unlike traditional Mene Tekel Decks, we also prepare the long edges of the cards, in addition to the traditional short-edge preparation.
The cards are cut across both the long and short edges, allowing the deck to be riffle shuffled on the table and cut from any side or end. This gives you greater freedom in how you handle and shuffle the deck.
LEARN THE MENE TEKEL DECK
Your deck includes a selection of PDFs teaching around a dozen tricks and routines specifically designed for the Mene Tekel principle.
HAND-PREPARED BY THE DECKSMITH
Each Mene Tekel Deck is individually prepared and tested in the Decksmith Workshop, with the long and short cards carefully matched and arranged.
WANT IT RESEALED?
Add our Factory Resealing service and we'll carefully reseal the deck using its original box, label and cellophane after preparation.
