CUSTOM DECKSMITH PROJECT

Have an idea for something you can't find anywhere else?

The Decksmith Workshop specialises in custom playing card preparations, built around exactly what you need. From a single gimmicked card to a complete prepared deck, custom stack work or a more unusual project, we'll work with you to figure out what's possible.

This also includes bespoke versions of existing commercial gimmicked decks. If you like a particular trick or preparation but would prefer it made using a different brand or style of playing cards, we can often build it to suit your preference. For example, a commercially available gimmicked deck normally supplied in Bicycle Rider Back could potentially be made using Tally-Ho, Bee or another suitable deck instead.

Every project is different, so there isn't a fixed price for custom work. The cost will depend on the preparation required, the number of cards or decks involved, the materials needed and the time involved.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Tell us what you need

Get in touch and explain what you're looking to have made. If you have photographs, videos, instructions or reference material, feel free to send those over too.

2. We'll work out the details

We'll discuss the preparation with you and let you know what we can do, along with any information we need to complete the job.

3. We'll agree the price

Once we know exactly what's involved, we'll provide a price for the project. Nothing is started until you've agreed to the cost.

4. Your project is built

Once payment has been made, your preparation is built by hand in the Decksmith Workshop, checked and tested before being packed and dispatched.

MADE TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

Custom work can include specialist card preparations, custom gimmicked cards, prepared or modified decks, bespoke versions of existing commercial gimmicks, alternative card stock and designs, stack work, short, narrow and corner-short cards, punch work and crimps, custom combinations of existing Decksmith preparations, or completely bespoke ideas.

If you have an idea that doesn't fit into one of those categories, that's fine too. If it's something that can be done with a deck of cards, we'll see what we can do.

Please note that some preparations may only be possible with certain brands or styles of playing cards. We'll confirm what's achievable before agreeing to a project.
