M-DECK

The M-Deck is a highly specialised utility deck designed around an incredibly precise physical marking system.

Unlike a traditional marked deck, the M-Deck uses subtle physical alterations built into the edges of the cards. These almost imperceptible details allow the performer to identify and track individual cards by touch, even after the deck has been thoroughly shuffled by a spectator.

WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH IT?

The M-Deck gives you a range of ways to locate and control cards without relying on traditional sleight of hand, a memorised stack or conventional card markings.

Cards can be located, controlled, brought to the top, cut to by name or gathered into combinations such as four-of-a-kind.

The real strength of the M-Deck is its ability to turn a genuinely chaotic shuffle into a situation the performer can still control.

THE DECKSMITH DIFFERENCE

The M-Deck is prepared using the M-Jig, designed by Daniel Madison and Eoin O'Hare at The Perfect Shuffle.

The jig allows the specialised edge preparation to be applied with a high degree of precision and consistency, creating the subtle physical markings that make the M-Deck possible.

Each deck is individually prepared and tested in the Decksmith Workshop before dispatch.

WANT IT RESEALED?

All Decksmith prepared decks are supplied in their original factory packaging. If you'd like your deck to be resealed after preparation, simply add our Factory Resealing service to your order.

We'll carefully reseal the deck using the original packaging before it leaves the Decksmith Workshop.
